This is me. I still have a mustache, and I still have this poster.

Raised by the Texas hill country, college educated by Southern California, toughened up by the East Coast, and currently being delighted by the San Francisco Bay Area, I consider myself pretty well-rounded and inspired by many kinds of stories. I started music as a kid drumming in church and have since worked with professional orchestras, commercial studios, and award-winning filmmakers. My heroes span from Johnny Cash to John Williams to Jean Sibelius, and I aim to keep working on projects that are meaningful and have an impact.


I compose concert works and film scores, I make arrangements for ensembles of all kinds, I produce and collaborate with artists, and I write songs for genres ranging from country to musical theater.
